The Snail Mail Club for August is Here!
I started a monthly snail mail club for my artwork. Every month, I am designing a postcard based on a real place in Maryland.
Every month includes a postcard, so that you can send a letter to a friend. It will also include mini-newspaper, Koogle Press. Most art snail mail clubs include a letter from the artist. My newsletter is a more flexible take on that. The newspaper format allows me give you updates not only on my art, but also on community art events. It will have a funnies and puzzles section too.
I am currently taking character commissions! While participating in a game called Art Fight, I created a style that is a ton of fun to make. The concept works great for FFXIV characters and D&D characters. I can also make the portraits more like stuffed animals, which fits well for pet portraits or even furries.
I have always been, and continue to be, open to work on book illustrations and custom invitations.
ACEO's are a great way to collect original artwork. These artworks are the same size of collectable cards and playing cards. This makes them easy to store and display, because they fit into card boxes, penny sleeves, and card binders. ACEO's typically start at only a couple of dollars. They are then auctioned off.
Since they are small and cheap, these cards allow the artist to experiment with new mediums and ideas without pressure. They also help the artist recuperate some of the cost of new mediums and technical practice. For my first batch, I experimented with Copic Markers. I then had the idea to create the tripple-layered holographic cards shown here.
I am bringing back my art streams! I am going to ease back into it though. Get ready for a spooky art marathon during the first week of October!
I am a human artist. I am an anti-Generative AI artist.
